Start with the news release Four-electrode hygienic conductivity sensor from Emerson Process Management, which we summarised at the time by saying "The Rosemount Analytical PUR-Sense 410VP conductivity sensor is an easy to install four-electrode contacting sensor designed for sanitary applications in the food, beverage and life science industries". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Pressure sensor with diagnostic function for pumps from IFM Electronic: "In addition to pressure measurement, efector PIM offers an additional function, allowing the diagnosis of pumps and the system 'around the pump'".
 
In October 2007, we covered the news from Yokogawa Europe - Industrial Automation concerning its pH3A - take a look at Sanitary pH sensor for food and pharmaceuticals which says: "A new sanitary pH sensor, the pH3A, designed to minimise contamination in applications in the food and pharmaceutical industries, has been introduced by Yokogawa Europe".
