We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "Energy Consumption", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Processingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release Digital 'Hydraulic Multi-meter' is a big hit from Webster Instruments, which we summarised at the time by saying "Hydraulic engineers and technicians are calling the updated DHM '3' series Digital Hydraulic Multi-meter an invaluable tool for commissioning or troubleshooting hydraulic systems". Earlier in the week, we featured the news release Alcoa Germany depends on CT modular drives from Control Techniques: "All three massive aluminium extrusion presses at Alcoa in Hannover now depend on variable speed drives from Control Techniques, and have cut energy consumption by a huge 40%!".

In January 2008, we covered the news from Micromech concerning its Energywize - take a look at Energywize saves energy for buildings and industry which says: "Energywize uses variable speed drives to ensure the pumps and fans that are commonplace throughout industry and service environments use no more energy than is required".

Take a look also at the news release from Adaptive Wireless Solutions, Wireless sensor network monitors data centre, as well as An intelligent filter housing from Ultra.air from Ultra.Air Group, and Copper plant for Centenario Copper in Chile from Outotec.
