We see from your search that you're looking for information on the term "ESD", and we have a large number of manufacturers' news releases and technical articles here on Processingtalk which will be of interest. Let me be your guide.

Start with the news release ESD valve fire protection cabinets from Intertec Instrumentation, which we summarised at the time by saying "Intertec is supplying over 100 fire protection cabinets to support Emerson ESD valve instrumentation at the new hydrocracker complex on the Kirishi oil refinery near St Petersburg, Russia". A couple of weeks before, we featured the news release Upgrade for major Norwegian gas treatment plant from Hima-Sella: "Hima-Sella has been awarded a GBP6m contract to renew some of the major safety equipment at the Karsto gas plant in southern Norway".

In October 2007, we covered the news from TSC Simulation concerning its JaSim training - take a look at Chemical plant operator training which says: "We believe that solid underpinning knowledge is essential for chemical technicians, operators and engineers - the founding principle behind our JaSim software".

Take a look also at the news release from TSC Simulation, High fidelity simulator of an offshore platform, as well as TSC simulators for BP in Azerbaijan from TSC Simulation, and Digital positioner for emergency shutdown valves from Masoneilan Dresser.
