Start with the news release New Numatics dual 3-ported, 2-position valve. from Asco Joucomatic Numatics, which we summarised at the time by saying "The Numatics 2005 Series dual 3-ported, 2-position valve introduced by Asco Numatics provides 'two valves in one' for a compact and cost effective solution". A few weeks before, we featured the news release Intelligent motor protection relays from Schneider Electric: "The new TeSys Model T intelligent motor protection relays from Telemecanique, a brand of Schneider Electric, are designed specifically to cut plant downtime and reduce maintenance costs".
 
In August 2007, we covered the news from Schneider Electric concerning its SoftFlow PLC - take a look at Collaboration keeps Heather Alpha pipes flowing which says: "The Lundin Britain decision to operate the Broom oil field as a satellite of the Heather Alpha platform meant that new flow measurement systems were required for allocation metering".
