Start with the news release
MTL provides Redundant Fisco power supplies for BP from
MTL Instruments Group, which we summarised at the time by saying "MTL Instruments has been selected to supply Redundant Fisco power supplies for use on the PSVM (Plutao, Saturno, Venus and Marte) development by BP in Angola's offshore Block 31 oilfield.".
Several months prior to that,
we featured the news release Route-Master system receives Atex approval from
Moore Industries International: "Moorehawke, a division of Moore Industries International, has announced that the Route-Master fieldbus system has an Atex approval (FM pending) as a redundant intrinsically-safe fieldbus system.".
In October 2008, we covered the news from ISA: International Society of Automation
- take a look at ISA updates Foundation Fieldbus
which says: "ISA has released Foundation Fieldbus, 3rd edition by Ian Verhappen and Augusto Pereira. ".
Take a look also at the news release from MTL Instruments Group, "Fast Switch" technology avoids fieldbus problems,
as well as MTL first to provide full redundancy for FISCO from MTL Instruments Group,
and A Fieldbus presentation and demo to UK contractors from SPECIAL REPORT by the Editor.
