Aaxeon releases PoE industrial media converters

Aaxeon Technologies has announced the release of the latest models in its Optolinx line of industrial media converters.

The IMP-100A industrial PoE (Power over Ethernet) media converter is a 10/100TX copper to 100FX fibre converter that has the ability to provide Power over Ethernet on the copper port.

The IMP-100A retains all the features found in the Optolinx line of industrial media converters such as an IP30-rated housing and a wide operating temperature.

Other features include: embedded one-port PoE injector function; RJ-45 port support auto MDI/MDI-X function; store-and-forward switching architecture; built-in link loss forwarding (LLF) and link-fault-pass-through (LFP); DC 48V redundant power; EFT protection 3,000V DC for power line; supports 6,000V DC Ethernet ESD protection; DIN-rail or wall mountable; and IP-30 protection.

All units are supplied with a five-year warranty.
