He is currently a director of the Sensors for Water Interest Group (SWIG), which focuses on the development of sensors for use in water and wastewater treatment processes and for environmental measurement.
Tony is also a steering committee member of the Water Industry Flow Club (WIFC), which provides a forum for discussion on all issues relating to the use of flow technology for water distribution and disposal.
In addition, Tony has been actively engaged in the UK Government's Sustainable Water Foresight initiative, which looks at the key challenges and opportunities likely to be faced by the water sector.
Tony aims to use his experience to help ABB to increase its focus on delivering products and services that meet the needs of its target customers.
"Suppliers and consumers alike are facing new challenges as water becomes an increasingly precious resource," says Tony.
"I hope to be able to put my experience to work in helping ABB to identify new ways in which we can help to meet these challenges.".
