The ABLE Optica series of chilled mirror hygrometers advance the functionality of precision humidity reference instruments by offering data logging and Ethernet connectivity.
Users can access recorded data and menus for set-up parameters and diagnostics via the Internet or intranet using standard browsers.
Essentially this allows users to view both system configuration and their process from any location in the world.
Consequently networking is dramatically reduced making communication inexpensive and far more flexible.
Available in bench top, rack mount or wall mounted configurations these units feature a bright VGA display, analogue and digital outputs as well as self-diagnostics and a user-friendly interface.
These instruments, which incorporate world-renowned technology from General Eastern, provide primary fundamental humidity measurement in terms of dew point temperature by utilising optical feedback to control a rhodium or platinum mirror to equilibrium, where the mass of frost or dew is constant.
The temperature of the mirror is then measured by a precise platinum RTD.
The Optica monitor also interfaces with existing ABLE chilled mirror, temperature and pressure sensors to provide readout and data acquisition of any humidity parameter.
In summary Optica hygrometers provide a range of -80 to +85C dew point via a choice of four interchangeable chilled mirror sensors with accuracy of +/-0.15C.
