AchemAmerica 2005, the international exhibition for process technologies, will take place for the second time in Mexico City from 12 to 15 April 2005.

It will be accompanied by an international congress programme focusing on the following topical themes: water management, new processes in chemistry and petrochemistry, life sciences and biotechnology.

AchemAmerica is the major international event in Mexico and Latin America for equipment suppliers to the chemical industry and process engineering.

A marked increase is expected over the first event in 2002, which attracted 212 exhibitors and 5531 visitors.

AchemAmerica is tailored to the regional situation and is supported by a strong network of local and international partners.

It is a unique opportunity for exhibiting companies and visitors to forge and foster contacts.

AchemAmerica themes include the following areas that are highly relevant to Mexico's process industry: chemical equipment and plant engineering, process engineering, petrochemistry, maintenance and quality assurance, environmental protection, water treatment, pharmaceutical techniques, biotechnology, food technology, agrochemistry, laboratory and analytical techniques, and packaging and storage techniques.

The Congress accompanying the exhibition will feature current developments on all issues concerning process technologies.

The key themes are "Water and Waste Water Management", "Novel Processes for Refining, SynFuels and Petrochemistry" and "LatAm-EU Cooperation in Life Science and Biotechnology".

Additionally, at the associated Business Meetings, trends and opportunities for co-operation will be discussed which will open up new opportunities for contacts with Mexico, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises. Request a free brochure from Achema 2009 ...
