The global meeting place for the process industry
In May 2009 Frankfurt will become the global focal point for chemical processing equipment suppliers and their customers when ACHEMA 2009 opens for business
The event attracts key people right through from research to final production, not just from within Europe, but increasingly from emerging markets in Asia and elsewhere.
"At the last Achema event in 2006, three British universities were amongst the more than 250 exhibitors from research-based establishments involved predominantly in process engineering, measurement and control, materials science and biotechnology," explained Mike Day, UK and Ireland representative for Achema: "The Research and Innovation area will have a more centralised location in 2009 and we encourage many more UK universities to make the most of this major opportunity to be at the hub of 4000 global exhibitors from 50 countries".
Greatly reduced stand space rental rates are also being offered by Achema 2009 to any start-up companies established since mid-2006.
The reduced pricing incentive aims to give start-ups a low-cost opportunity to showcase their innovation skills and capabilities in the same shop window as bigger, more established companies.
Achema 2009 is also hosting a Special Show addressing the green theme of 'Chemistry and Biotechnology for Renewable Resources and Energy'.
To encourage the advance of sustainable technologies, the event organiser is offering exhibitors at this Special Show the chance to participate at special low rate tariffs.
The Congress that runs alongside the exhibition, will feature more than 900 specialist lectures, and offers all exhibitors the opportunity to explain and illustrate in more detail the benefits of their technologies to the global Achema audience. Request a free brochure from ACHEMA 2009 ...
