Currently available in the UK at just GBP86 ex-VAT, its low cost makes it economical to equip every PC-based workstation in an organisation with data acquisition capability, eliminating the need to share hardware.

It is compatible with USB 1.1 or 2.0 ports on notebook, desktop or rack-mount PCs.

Within its compact, modern design, the PMD-1208LS provides 8 channels of 12-bit analogue input, sample rates to 1.2 kS/s (8Ksps for 4000 samples), two D/A outputs and 16 DIO bits, with signals brought out to screw terminals.

The price includes ready-to-run software applications including a Strip Chart recorder and a Data Logger which directly writes to Excel files.

The supplied Universal Library software driver for use with Windows-based programming languages includes LabVIEW and SoftWIRE instrument drivers.

Other devices in the low-cost PMD range include 16-bit analogue input and 24-bit digital I/O models.

OEM versions are also available.
