BT plans to develop wind farms aimed at generating up to 25% of its existing UK electricity requirements by 2016 AEA is one of three specialist advisors supporting the GBP250 million project which will be the UK's biggest corporate wind power project outside of the energy sector

BT is currently one of Britain's largest consumers of electricity, with an annual requirement of around 0.7% of the entire UK consumption.
