Nigel is a joint founder of Lafert Electric Motors (previously AEG Electric Motors ) and has played a major role in establishing the UK company since it was set up in 2001.
This appointment recognises the significant part Nigel has played in helping the company to quadruple its turnover since its first year of trading in 2001/2.
This has been achieved both by establishing recognition of the Lafert expertise in providing engineered solutions to match customer needs and by overseeing the introduction of new product lines to take advantage of new opportunities in related markets.
Most notable of these new product lines have been the 'Marlin' Stainless Steel motor and gearbox range for hygiene sensitive areas, and generators for the 'green' production of electricity, using both wind and wave power.
