In-line mixer / homogenisers keep sauce consistent
Production at the premises of The Sauce Company located in Scunthorpe is always maintained at optimum levels by using a number of mixer/homogenisers provided by Advanced Engineering
Being totally stainless steel, the Magnamix package offers the highest hygiene qualities and, because the motor is IP66 rated, can be steam and high-pressure hose cleaned, even when cleaning chemicals are employed.
In addition, the mixing head is designed for self-cleaning as well as giving access for cleaning devices such as static sprayballs and rotary spray heads.
The leak-free characteristic results from there being no mechanical seal where mixer and motor are coupled.
Instead, the mixer is magnetically coupled ensuring the mixing vessel integrity.
It is bottom mounted to vessels/tanks.
This results in effective mixing even at low levels and for low volume mixes.
Also, bottom fixing means there are no overhead requirements for access or connections.
The Magnamix can provide gentle or vigorous mixing (variable speed) of liquids into liquids, and for solids into liquids.
The mixer is designed in accordance with cGMP standards for CIP and SIP.
The Magnamix is the latest addition to the range of in-line, high shear and vessel mixers offered by Advanced Engineering.
