Oven temperature controllers
ABB Automation Technologies has supplied 12 ControlIT C351 single loop process controllers to Belgian chemical company Tessenderlo Chemie NV, to control six ovens in a continuous sulphate process
Turbulent, steaming or dusty surfaces as well as changes in density, pressure or temperature do not affect the measuring accuracy.
PMG 01 is suitable for medium temperatures from -30C to +200C.
PMG 01 features 2-wire technology, is supplied with DC 20-29V and has a 4-20 mA output (HART).
The 4-wire technology PMG 02 unit is also suitable for interface measurement in containers with heights of up to 40 m.
It is supplied with AC 230V (DC/AC 24V optional) and is available with an RS 485 interface or Profibus PA.
A display that can be integrated provides information directly on site.
The units are also programmed from here.
Both measuring devices have no moving parts.
This means that the risk of failure is minimal while the reliability is exceptionally high.
Various process connections, probe materials and coatings assure that the systems can be used in a great variety of applications in systems, process, tank and food technology, including Ex applications.
