Aggreko, the global leader in rental power, temperature control and compressed air systems, has appointed Robin Richardson as Northern European Managing Director Robin, who is taking up his new role immediately, will report directly to Kash Pandya, the Aggreko European Regional Managing Director, and will be a member of the company's European Management Board

Robin Richardson joins Aggreko from a major UK supplier of weighing equipment and systems where, until recently, he was Divisional Managing Director responsible for sales, marketing and service activities throughout the UK and Ireland.
"There are strong parallels between the challenges Robin tackled in his previous job, and those that will face him at Aggreko," said Kash Pandya: "For example, both businesses operate in highly competitive markets, serving a broad range of industrial and commercial customers in situations where the highest standards of customer service are essential.
Both organisations also have centralised call handling and administration, as well as an extensive network of service centres.

Robin Richardson replaces Andy Wright who, after successfully guiding Aggreko operations in Northern Europe for a number of years, has left the company to pursue a new career path.
