Ashtead at MCERTS 2007 will feature some popular portable products for gas detection and monitoring, including the Horiba PG250 for NOx, SO2, CO, CO2, and O2, and the Bernath heated FID for VOCs

The Ashtead stand at the MCERTS 2007 conference, workshop and exhibition will feature some of their most popular portable products for gas detection and monitoring, including the Horiba PG250 for NOx, SO2, CO, CO2, and O2, and the Bernath heated FID for VOCs.

Both of these instruments are MCERTS approved.

If heated lines are not necessary, the Photovac MicroFID is available with an additional 1 litre hydrogen bottle providing up to 3 refills.

Other products on show will include the Testo 350 flue gas analyser for O2, CO, NO, NO2, SO2 and temperature with in-built calculation for CO2 and combustion efficiency.

A choice of toxic gas detectors is also available for occupational hygiene and leak detection.

Calum Dow of Ashtead says "Renting portable instruments is the obvious choice for many applications, including:.

*Analysis of multiple emission sources.

* Short-term monitoring projects.

* Consultancy projects.

* Site assessments.

* Emissions analysis prior to the choice of CEMS.

* Leak detection.

* Occupational health surveys.

Experts will be available on the Ashtead stand to offer advice on the choice of instrument for different applications".
