Featuring a one-piece sensing element, the AST47SM Series of pressure sensors have no silicone oil, welds or O-rings, eliminating the chance of contamination from outside media.
A stainless steel housing welded to the sensing element and cable connection withstands system wash-downs.
The pressure sensors also feature a stress-reduced diaphragm that withstands high-pressure spikes while a special internal restrictor maintains a high frequency response of ~1kHz.
Units also possess high proof and burst pressure ratings.
Operating over a wide temperature of - 40 to 85C (-40 to 185F), the AST47SM units provide high accuracy of < +0.25%BFSL, with optional < +0.25%BFSL of FS with calibration data.
Units are rated for over 100million pressure cycles and have 100Vm of EMI/RFI to protect against electrical noise.
Available in pressure ranges up to 10,000 psi (700 bar), the ASTM47SM Series pressure sensors offer outputs of 10mV/V (50mV), 0-5V (3 or 4 wire), 0-10V (3 or 4 wire), 1-5V, 1-6V, 1-10V or 4-20mA (loop) to address different application requirements.
Units are available with various cable lengths and pressure ports including a 0.25inch BSP male process connection and 0.25inch NPT.
An optional 6-pin Bendix connection is available for direct integration into existing systems.
