Active has released a range of threaded magnetic reed switch proximity switches, for use where engineers require easy installation and accurate adjustment of operating distances

Active has released a range of threaded magnetic reed switch proximity switches.

These have been designed and supplied by Active for applications in the general engineering and control and process markets where engineers require easy installation and accurate adjustment of operating distances.

The PSM range with cylindrical brass, nickel plated, threaded housings are fitted with high power reed switches able to switch up to 240Vac.

The switches are fully encapsulated and fitted with insulated leads.

Magnets in matching size housings can also be supplied as part of the PMM range or can be purchased uncased.

The PSM switch range can be supplied in M6, M8, M12 or M18 thread sizes with the M18 power switch part number PSM304 rated at 240Vac, 3A, 120VA maximum.
