RF Tek Pinch Valves utilise a non-stretch tube design that features two expansion arches that flex rather than stretch when closing, giving extended wear resistance and cycle life

RF Tek Pinch Valves utilise a non-stretch tube design that features two expansion arches that flex rather than stretch when closing This design provides extended wear resistance and cycle life

In addition the tube arches and positive opening tags ensure tube stability under low flow, fluctuating line pressures and vacuum conditions.

Another benefit of this design is shorter face to face dimensions than conventional pinch valves, conforming to ASME, ISO or ANSI dimensions: therefore these valves can often replace other valve types without modifications to pipework.

Full port and reduced port tubes permit precise throttling control.

The tubes are available in a wide range of elastomers to suit process conditions.

Additionally RF Tek offer their patented tube wear monitoring system that can provide wear monitoring via local display or DCS system. This provides a reliable tool to alert operators to when a tube is due for replacement thus reducing downtime caused by unexpected failure.

RF Tek tubes are closed mechanically by movement of upper and lower pinch bars, that pinch across the centre line.

Actuation is either manual, pneumatic, hydraulic or electro-mechanical.

Sizes range 25 to 1000 mm.

Pressure range 1 - 40 Bar.

RF Tek "Airflex" Pinch Valves are operated by direct pneumatic pressure supplied between the body and tube.

RF Tek Pinch Valves are selected for abrasive, scaling and corrosive slurries, liquids and powder duties and are utilised in pulp and paper, chemical, mineral processing and waste water treatment plants.
