Additionally, the pressure within the dosing head is constantly being monitored and can be displayed at the touch of a button.
The pressure at which the dosing pump trips out can also be adjusted internally, effectively deleting the need for external pressure relief valves and on over-pressure, the pump displays "Error bar".
In both cases an alarm signal can be sent from the pump to a central PLC/SCADA system.
Optionally, there is also the possibility of forwarding the warning message via a GSM module to alert an operator via an SMS message.
The TrueDos Digital Dosing Pumps are dual voltage 110-230/1/50 with an optional 24V DC unit and can accept a 4-20mA control signal, pulse input from a water meter to dose ml per input, be run in batch mode, timer mode, offers a run hours time counter, indicates chemical consumption and can be Profibus enabled.
Flow rates from 4ml/hr to 150 lph with pressures to 16 bar.
Uses include dosing of chemicals for disinfection, fluoridation, pH correction, flocculants and niche applications requiring low flow dosing and absolute accuracy.
Alldos also offer conventional dosing pumps to 8000 lph, gas disinfection equipment, chlorine dioxide systems, residual chlorine analysers, polyelectrolyte make up plant and complete chemical dosing systems in conjunction with several leading systems integration companies.
