Brewery solutions provided for Ukraine plants
Alfa Laval - a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling - has received an order for process solutions in two breweries in the Ukraine
Ukraine has a very long tradition of brewing beer.
It goes back more than 200 years.
As the consumption of beer now is increasing the Ukrainian brewery industry is growing and both of the two orders are to increase capacity.
"It is very satisfying that the brewery industry in Eastern Europe now is investing again", says Lars Renstrom, President and CEO of Alfa Laval: "Both these orders in the Ukraine are a clear proof of that Alfa Laval solutions for the world's breweries are of highest quality and are in demand".
The orders have a large scope and consist of many different products and the system solutions from Alfa Laval.
Ukraine was the fastest growing market for Alfa Laval during 2006.
Annual sales in the country are currently approximately SEK 200million and the largest applications for Alfa Laval can be found within food, steel and inorganic chemicals.
The total order value is approximately SEK 50million.
Delivery started in 2007 and be completed in 2008.
