edition
The American Welding Society (AWS), the world's largest organization dedicated to advancing the science, technology and application of welding, has published the 5th Edition of the Brazing Handbook
This updated and expanded version of the Brazing Handbook provides a comprehensive, organized survey of the basics of brazing processes and applications Knowledge of the ancient art of brazing continues to be supplemented by an ever-increasing amount of technical information about metals and their behaviour, so that today brazing can be considered both an art and a science

The Brazing Handbook series was developed in response to industry demand for a single manual that could review the fundamental concepts of brazing while incorporating relevant technical updates.
This 5th Edition has been reorganized into three main sections - Fundamentals, Processes and Applications.
It addresses several topics including the fundamentals of brazing, brazement design, brazing filler metals and fluxes, inspection of brazed joints, codes and standards, safety and health, and many more.
In addition, there are two new chapters on induction brazing and diamond brazing.
The Brazing Handbook represents the culmination of many years of work by the AWS C3 Committee on Brazing and Soldering and AWS C3A Subcommittee for the Brazing Handbook.
The 5th Edition contains 740 pages, and includes 36 chapters, three appendices, 308 figures, and 116 reference tables.
The price is USD136 for non-members or USD102 for AWS members.
