AMET of Idaho manufactures and supplies advanced computerised TIG, plasma, MIG/MAG and submerged arc welding systems, and has formed a new European operation

AMET (Europe) is a newly formed joint venture between a European weld automation supplier and AMET Inc of Idaho, and manufactures and supplies advanced computerised welding systems, featuring welding processes such as TIG, plasma, MIG/MAG and submerged arc Machines are available for longitudinal seam and circumferential welding catering for a wide range of material types, lengths, diameters and thickness

A major feature of the products is the inbuilt accuracy and repeatability of the control systems and the precision of manipulators and fixtures.

AMET (Europe) also manufactures welding control systems including hot and cold wire feeders, arc voltage controllers and oscillating systems.

Both standard systems and purpose-designed packages are available to suit a specific application.

A new web site has recently been established, which contains comprehensive information about products and services with links to sister companies in the USA and Asia.
