Amphenol Industrial Operations has introduced a new series of push-pull aluminium shell connectors developed for signal and power interconnects in process control applications

Amphenol Industrial Operations, a manufacturer of high reliability connectors and interconnection systems for industrial markets, has introduced a new series of push-pull aluminium shell connectors developed for signal and power interconnects in process control applications.

Amphe-PPM Series connectors allow quick mating and unmating and are available in a wide variety of configurations.

Non-sealed connectors are offered in 12mm or 16mm housings with two to twelve contacts of 1.0mm to 2.5mm in diameter.

The rear accessory can be either a rubber boot or cable clamp.

Sealed Amphe-PPM connectors are offered in 10mm, 12mm, 16mm and 18mm housings.

They are available with two to fourteen contacts of 0.8mm to 2.5mm diameter.

The shells of both non-sealed and sealed.

Amphe-PPM connectors are offered with a non-reflective nickel finish; the non-sealed connectors are also available with a black epoxy finish and both types are produced in three styles: box mount receptacle, jam nut receptacle and straight plug.

Pin contacts are brass and socket contacts are copper alloy.

Amphe-PPM connectors are designed to IEC 61984, with a flammability rating of UL94V-0 and IP55 to IP67 sealing.

Operating temperature range is -40C to +100C.
