AMOT valves specified for drilling vessel

An AMOT product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Dec 3, 2009

Nine AMOT thermostatic temperature-control valves and a 12in pneumatic control valve were specified for a 3,000m deepwater semi-submersible drilling vessel by China's Wai Gao Qiao shipyard.

The AMOT 'B' wax-type thermostatic temperature valve is part of the company's first order from the shipyard.

The valves were supplied with accessories.

The B Valve has a robust design to handle high vibration and shock, while maintaining stable temperatures over a range of operating conditions.

It also offered a simple, low-cost installation with no external power-source requirement and no need for user setting.
