American Air and Water, specialising in germicidal UV systems for air, surface and water disinfection, has registered their company name at the US Patent and Trademark Office

American Air and Water has been granted registration of their company name as a trademark by the US Patent and Trademark Office The company, based in Hilton Head, South Carolina, specialises in germicidal UV systems for air, surface and water disinfection and replacement UV lamps

Striving to offer a complete line of environmental improvement products for residential, commercial and hospital applications, the company also carries a complete line of sporicidin disinfectant solutions and enzyme mould cleaners.

American Air and Water took over from Enhance-It: since the company formation in 1999, they focused on residential UV air disinfection systems, making the American-Lights UV Air Cleaner, the number one residential UV air cleaner on the market.

In 2002 a complete line of commercial UV air, surface and water disinfection products were added, so the new corporation was created to meet the expanding business demands in place of the privately owned Enhance-It company.

Over the past years American Air and Water has established itself as a leading provider of UV air, surface and water purification solutions and a supplier of top quality environmental products.

The UVC products represented by the company are at the cutting edge of the UV technology.

American Air and Water is a government approved vendor and has delivered UVC products to Navy Vessels, the EPA Emergency Operations Centre and many educational facilities including the University of Virginia, the University of Washington, the University of Kansas, and the University of Wisconsin, among others.

American Air and Water is a member of the International Ultraviolet Association and contributes to development and popularising of the UVGI Standards and Guidelines.

American Air and Water is also a member of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America, the International Facility Management Association and the Indoor Air Quality Association and works diligently to educate its fellow members of these organizations in methods and techniques of keeping the indoor environment clean, healthy and energy efficient.
