Jofra pressure calibrators on show at MTEC

Ametek Calibration Instruments will be showing Version 4.0 of the popular Jofracal documenting calibration software for the first time in the UK at MTEC 2008

This new version provides automatic calibration of sensors using a PC and is now capable of performing pressure calibration as well as temperature calibration.

Also on show will be the latest pressure calibrators from the Jofra IPI range and the recently announced Jofra DPC-500 documenting pressure calibrator.

Temperature calibration will be represented by the the Jofra ATC-125 ultra cooler which can reach -90C.

Jofracal can now be used with Jofra DPC-500, APC, CPC and IPI pressure calibrators, all Jofra temperature calibrators, as well as Jofra AMC900, ASC300 multi signal calibrators and the ASM-800 signal multi scanner.

When used with Jofra ASM-800 signal multi scanner, Jofracal can perform a simultaneous automatic calibration on up to 24 pressure or temperature devices at the same time.

Jofracal software controls the complete calibration procedure, stores the results and provides a calibration audit trail through hard-copy certificates.

All calibration data are stored for each sensor to monitor drift and optimise recalibration intervals.

A scheduler feature allows planning of future calibrations.

The Jofra DPC-500 documenting pressure calibrator has set a new standard for pressure calibration.

Designed for high precision calibration of pressure instruments such as pressure gauges, transmitters, digital manometers, pressure switches and overpressure valves, the DPC-500 offers improved pressure accuracy (+/-0.025%FS), better electrical current (+/-1.6uA) and voltage (+/-0.5mV) accuracy and an extended pressure range of 250mbar to 1000barFS.

The DPC-500 also offers absolute pressure measurement from 0.4 to 16bar absolute.

The Jofra ATC-125 has a temperature range of 215C (-90 to 125C).

Featuring patent-applied for Free Piston Stirring Cooler (FPSC) technology for cooling, together with a special heating element, the ATC-125 offers high accuracy and excellent stability.

Its extremely fast heating and cooling makes a 5 point calibration up to 5 times quicker than with an equivalent liquid bath.

It can be used equally as easily in a laboratory or factory environment.
