Capacitive touch screens now made
standard

Better light transmission, increased durability and faster response improve the performance of the new MicroTouch ClearTek II capacitive touch screens, now standard on multifunction panel computers

The Applied Panel Computing Group at Advantech now includes 3M MicroTouch ClearTek II capacitive touch screens as standard equipment on all 12, 15 and 17inch multifunction panel computers The new touch screens bring numerous standard benefits to the Advantech line-up including improved optical characteristics for light transmission and anti-glare support, a top coating that provides even more scratch resistance and a better feel, and faster, more accurate touch sensitivity for more responsive input

The MicroTouch ClearTek II touch screens are extremely robust, water-resistant when used with a polyethylene gasket and can withstand the dust, dirt, and grease typical of harsh operating environments.

These features, along with driver support for easy Windows and Linux OS integration, make the MicroTouch ClearTek II touch screen great for integrators providing high traffic and harsh use solutions such as kiosks, ATMs, vending and gaming machines, as well as a range of possible industrial applications.

Clearer, Brighter, More Durable.

Probably the most noticeable improvement is the 91.5% light transmission rate and improved anti-glare optical quality.

This makes screens brighter in well-lit environments and allows colours and images to appear more vivid and crisp.

The ClearTek II hard coat gives the touch screen a Mohs hardness rating of 7 on the touch screen surface.

Liquid on the display does not affect operation.

The screen is highly resistant to corrosives and is easily cleaned with water and other non-abrasive cleaners.

With an operating temperature range of -15 to +70C, this new touch screen offers superior display performance in the most demanding application environments. Request a free brochure from Advantech (UK) ...
