New senior account manager in North America

Anderol, a leading worldwide manufacturer of specialty synthetic lubricants, recently named Dr Gary Babic to the new position of Senior Account Manager for the Anderol North American business

In this role, Babic will provide strategic sales support to strengthen the Anderol global market leadership position.

Babic's record of success in the lubricants industry will help enhance customer service and technical support in North America.

Babic joined Anderol in 2005 as the manager of South Asian sales based in Bangkok, Thailand, and has relocated to Anderol North America.

In his previous role, he coordinated sales and marketing support for the Asia-Pacific region including India and Australia.

Bringing more than 25 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of fuel and lubricant additives, Babic will work on the continued growth of the Anderol branded business, and transition his responsibilities for the Asia-Pacific region to Francis Hou, general manager, Asia Pacific.

Prior to joining Anderol, Babic spent his career with ChevronTexaco.

During his time there, he launched Texaco Additives International sales offices in Singapore and Bangkok.

Babic holds a BA and PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Marist College.
