Biodiesel production is a relatively simple process offering excellent opportunities to implement on-line process control.
One of the first parts of the process available for process analysis is the Neutralisation Number (NN).
Potentiometric titration will provide rapid and extremely accurate analysis for the volume of base required for neutralisation and reduce costs for basic raw materials and processing.
The ADI 2016 Titro Analyser from Applikon Analytical is designed to bridge the gap between the process and the laboratory by carrying out the analysis on line.
At the heart of the analyser is a precision burette and volumetric sampling system to provide laboratory accuracy within a robust, reliable analyser.
The ADI 2016 Titro Analyser will provide analysis for free fatty acids at approximately 10 minute intervals and report data in the required format.
Housed in an IP65 cabinet the ADI 2016 Titro Analyser is suitable for mounting within the process environment without further protection and is also available in a stainless steel cabinet for hygiene areas.
