On-line copper analysis in surface and
waste water
The Alert range from Applikon Analytical is expanded with the addition of the latest model for determination of copper in waste and surface water
The analyser uses the unique Differential Absorbance Colorimetry (DAC) methodology to prevent background sample colour and solids adversely affecting the analysis The analysis is capable of determining copper down to seven parts per billion with a maximum calibrated range of 5 mg/l
The method determines both cuprous and cupric ions to give a total copper value.
The running costs are kept to a minimum by low reagent use, less than 1ml per analysis, and minimal consumables.
Attendance for planned maintenance is usually carried out on an annual basis.
