Alert colorimeter analyses nitrate in water

Applikon Analytical has introduced the Alert Colorimeter for Nitrate, which is suitable for monitoring drinking water leaving the works.

The Alert Colorimeter for Nitrate can be supplemented with the Alert Colorimeter for Nitrite for full compliance monitoring.

The Alert Colorimeter for Nitrite uses the Differential Absorbance Colorimetry (DAC) methodology to prevent background sample colour or turbidity adversely affecting the analysis.

The working range is 0.3 - 150g/l, with a cycle time of around 20 minutes.

The running costs are kept to a minimum by low reagent use, typically 1ml per analysis for each reagent and minimal consumables.

Attendance for planned maintenance is usually carried out on an annual basis.
