Analyser detects sulphides in landfill leachates

An Applikon Analytical product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jan 12, 2010

The ADI 2016 Titro analyser from Applikon Analytical is designed to carry out sulphide titration automatically at the discharge point rather than requiring samples to be transported to the laboratory.

Sulphide determination in landfill leachate is critical for water quality and the most accurate method of making the analysis is the use of titration.

The titration method requires no calibration and is impervious to solids in the sample.

Typically this is carried out either in the site or remote laboratory leading to a time delay between sampling and awareness of a pollution incident.

The ADI 2016 Titro analyser can provide analysis at the discharge point at approximately 10-minute intervals and report data in the required format for compliance reporting.

Housed in an IP65 cabinet, the ADI 2016 Titro analyser is suitable for the industrial environment and offers robust sample handling for even the most 'dirty' sample.
