Sustainable water pressure management
Aquai-Mod offers an instantaneous water distribution pressure management system that does not rely on power but uses the water flow velocity itself, modulating the system PRVs
World politicians have agreed that water is a human right and a common good, that water supply should be publicly funded and that we should all participate in the management of water resources We citizens take it for granted and expect that when we turn our taps on that water is there on demand, at the right pressure and "as cheap as chips"

The majority of us do not take any responsibility for conserving water on our side of the water meter or stop-cock yet we expect the Water Companies to meet our demands with little or no help from us as consumers.
Currently the UK is leaking 4,858megaLitres of water per day, which equates to approx 58million baths per day.
The UK Water industry collects, treats and supplies 16billion Litres of water per day, it then collects 10billion Litres of waste water, re-treats this and puts it back into supply.

67% of our water comes from the surface and the balance from the ground.
A typical household uses 151Litres of water per day, it takes 2000tonnes of water to grow 1tonne of rice and 1000 tonnes of water to grow 1 tonne of wheat.
In processing 1megaLitre of water, 0.289tonnes of greenhouse gases are emitted into the atmosphere.
A garden sprinkler running for 1 hour would supply the basic water needs of a family of 4 for 2days and it takes 586Kwh to produce 1megaLitre of water.
Maintenance of pressure in our networks both in the mains infrastructure, industry and commerce goes un-noticed 24hrs per day 365days per year and puts an immense strain on resources.
Management relies on the experience and skills of the technicians and managers to read and predict the system using products that have not made significant technical advances in years.
Aquavent UK has developed 'Aquai-Mod' via this same experience and skill, talking to the technicians and managers: it offers an instantaneous pressure management system that does not rely on power but uses the flow velocity of the system itself, modulating the system PRVs on a supply on demand basis.
Culminating from development using experience working in all industrial sectors over the last 20 years, the unit combines proven and new technologies.
Aquai-Mod offers sustainable construction and production, doing "more with less": savings are being recorded of between 0.015 and 0.25ML/day per installation.
Aquai-Mod is approved on the Water Technology List for water saving devices and attracts tax savings via the Enhanced Capital Allowance Scheme approved by DEFRA and HM Customs and Excise.
