Eastington-based Arc Energy Resources is celebrating winning the largest single order in its 11-year history - a GBP300,000 contract to supply specially clad components to an international manufacturer of sub-sea equipment The order, which is subject to a confidentiality agreement, will allow the customer to draw components over the next twelve months from ready-clad stock held by Arc Energy

Managing director Alan Robinson says the order is great news for the company, which has enjoyed considerable growth in the past five years and has recently acquired a further 6000 sq ft of factory space to create dedicated production centres for its core operations.

Weld overlay cladding is supported by a comprehensive fabrication service located in its own purpose equipped unit.

Arc Energy specialises in applying corrosion resistant weld overlay cladding to the exposed surfaces of high value components in the pipeline and associated subsea industries.

It offers a comprehensive range of processes from its Eastington, Gloucestershire factory using teams of welders and fabricators qualified to international standards.
