Aker Kvaerner awarded process systems contracts
Aker Kvaerner has signed three new contracts for design and supply of oil and gas treatment packages, to a total value of approximately NOK 160 million
One of the contracts is with Hyundai Heavy Industries for design and supply of an all inconel gas/glycol dehydration unit to the Adma Opco Umm Shaif offshore field in the Emirates.
The second contract is with Maurel and Prom where Aker Kvaerner will deliver crude desalting facilities to the new Maurel and Prom crude production site in Gabon, in mid 2008.
The third contract has been awarded by BG Group.
Aker Kvaerner will deliver two new glycol regeneration systems for their Miskar platform in Tunisia.
These contracts are undertaken by the Aker Kvaerner subsidiary, Aker Kvaerner Process Systems in France who is a leading supplier of gas dehydration systems with a well proven track record.
"The award of these contracts has proven our competitiveness within deliveries of oil and gas treatment packages.
Our reputation as a dependable and experienced supplier of oil and gas treatment packages was one of the factors in being chosen", says Lionel Waintraub, managing director of Aker Kvaerner Process Systems in France.
Aker Kvaerner Process Systems offer glycol gas dehydration systems designed to meet high dew point depression requirements, and the water rich glycol stream can be regenerated to high glycol concentrations.
The units involved will be fabricated in Korea, Morocco and France.
