26 November 2009 - Aker Solutions has opened a new subsea facility at its yard in Egersund, west Norway.
5 June 2009 - Aker Solutions is expanding its subsea and subsurface service offering in Australia by establishing its geo business in the country.
The geo business is a subsurface consultancy that delivers services throughout the entire subsea value chain - from exploration to production.
The geo unit will operate out of Aker Solutions's subsea operations base and regional head office, located near Perth International Airport, Western Australia.
