Aspectrics has appointed Qwest Scientific to strengthen their distribution network in the Pacific Southwest and Pacific Northwest Regions

Aspectrics, the innovator of patented Encoded Photometric Near Infrared (EP-NIR) spectroscopy technology, has recently concluded an exclusive strategic agreement with Qwest Scientific Group, the California-based distributor of chromatographs, spectrometers, elemental analysers, sample preparation systems, robotics and autotitrators This collaboration sees Qwest Scientific appointed as manufacturer's representative to distribute the Aspectrics complete range of biodiesel analysers across California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, and Idaho and will expand Aspectrics sales team with the introduction of seven Qwest representatives

Aspectrics has decided to partner with Qwest Scientific to increase sales in the Pacific and Western regions and to take advantage of the increased customer interest in the Aspectrics biodiesel portfolio.

The Qwest Scientific team of experienced problem solvers works closely with industrial and laboratory users to supply them with reliable and cost-effective instrumentation as well as complementary product lines, including data systems such as LIMS, gas generators and other laboratory and process instrumentation.

With over 13 years of experience in the industry, Qwest Scientific provides a customer-centric approach, offering extended personalised pre and post-sale technical support services.

With a database of over 12,000 customers and prospects in the West, Southwest, and Pacific Northwest regions of USA, Qwest Scientific is an ideal partner for Aspectrics.

Under the terms of the agreement, Qwest Scientific will use its thorough customer interaction expertise spanning across face-to-face, telephone and email sales and customer seminars on-site and via the internet to best promote the complete range of Aspectrics biodiesel analysers.

Qwest Scientific will be responsible for the distribution of the Aspectrics Biodiesel Quality Analyser 1000 (BQA 1000) and the Aspectrics 2750 Biodiesel Analyser.

Designed to provide fast and accurate results, the BQA 1000 is a rugged, at-line analyser that has been pre-calibrated for a number of harsh biodiesel production applications to expedite set up and on-going analyses.

In addition, new calibrations can be added to the analyser to meet future testing requirements.

Users can analyse incoming raw materials as well as finished products for contaminates such as water percentage, methanol concentration, total glycerine, free glycerine and Free Fatty Acids (FFA).

The analyser is easy to clean, service and operate and requires no sample preparation.

The other Aspectrics biodiesel analyser to be distributed by Qwest Scientific is the Aspectrics 2750 Biodiesel Analyser which is capable of performing reliable and accurate quality assurance measurements of methanol, water and total glycerin in biodiesel.

Also designed to measure water content in ethanol, biodiesel blend determination and analyzing ethanol/gasoline blends, the analyser is a highly flexible platform able to provide pass/fail information on multiple biodiesel contaminants before samples are sent out for ASTM certification.

A single analyser is capable of processing multiple biodiesel samples providing real-time results where they matter most - at line!.
