Hampshire-based Scientific Support Services will be responsible for the distribution of the complete range of Aspectrics biodiesel analysers, including their Biodiesel Quality Analyser 1000 (BQA 1000) and the Aspectrics 2750 Biodiesel Analyser.

BTX Analyser development project agreed
Aspectrics will be sponsoring the upcoming University of Washington BTX (Benzene/Toluene/Xylene) research project, aimed at developing an advanced BTX petrochemical analyser
The BQA 1000 is an at-line analyser designed to provide fast and accurate results with an impressive rate of 100 scans/second.
The analyser has been pre-calibrated for a number of harsh biodiesel production applications to expedite set up and on-going analyses.
In addition, new calibrations can be added to the analyser to meet future testing requirements.
Scientific Support Services will also be distributing the Aspectrics 2750 Biodiesel Analyser which is capable of performing reliable and accurate quality assurance measurements of methanol, water and total glycerin in biodiesel.
It is also designed to measure water content in ethanol, biodiesel blend determination and is capable of analysing ethanol/gasoline blends.
The analyser is a highly flexible platform able to provide pass/fail information on multiple biodiesel contaminants before samples are sent out for ASTM certification.
With a rich heritage in the distribution of scientific instrumentation, Scientific Support Services is certified to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 by BSI Management Systems for the sale and service of analytical instrumentation and the provision of training and consultancy services.
It has been supplying and servicing laboratory analytical systems with advanced technologies to major corporations, hospitals and universities for research, testing and QA/QC.
Under the terms of the agreement, Scientific Support Services will provide a comprehensive range of support services from fast and efficient technical support to preventative maintenance and performance verification.
The distributor can also supply complimentary product lines including, Chromatography, UV-Visible Spectroscopy and Thermal Analysis solutions.
