The smallest of the size 14 models has a body length of only 20 mm, while delivering a holding torque of 5 N cm.
The most powerful in the range provides an 11 N cm holding torque but is still only 34 mm long.
There are two models in the size 11 range, offering holding torques of 7 and 9 N cm and weighing 140 g and 200 g respectively.
"The compact size and high power of these units makes them ideal for applications such as robotics, laboratory sampling, medical instrumentation and 3G telephone mast antennas," said Simon Hunt, Astrosyn technical sales director.
"They are also suitable for controlling CCTV cameras in security applications." All the models offer high accuracy with a step angle of 1.8 degrees.
