IWEX success for Atlas Copco Compressors
IWEX visitors seeking compressed air application solutions were introduced to three compression technology choices on the Atlas Copco Compressors stand
These included the latest dry rotary screw compressor, together with innovative high-speed gearless centrifugal and conventional positive displacement blowers A ZL 300 unit on show represented the established ZL range of oil-free, low-pressure, low-noise, low-vibration, low-pulsation, positive displacement rotary blowers

Setting the standard for refrigerant dryers
The latest addition to Atlas Copco Compressors family of refrigerant dryers, the FD 5-4000 range, offers constant dry air at any time, with advanced control and monitoring and reduced energy costs
Available with optional variable speed inverter, these blowers meet the WWT stations airflow demands in a cost-effective package.
In specific process industry applications, that include bulk solids transfer, the ZL package has achieved reported energy savings of up to 75%.
The latest ZS+ 75 VSD dry rotary screw package made its debut at IWEX.
The low-pressure ZS+ machine displayed was a complete ready-to-run kit that offers 40 to 60% energy savings and dramatic noise reduction over conventional positive displacement blowers.
Much interest was shown in the blower units that are specifically designed for waste water aeration processes.
The ZB single-stage centrifugal blowers, with directly coupled high-speed, compact motor unit and centrifugal compressor wheel, combine world-leading energy efficiency with an extremely low operating noise level of 67 dB(A).
Visitors learned that for large flow volume applications, multiple ZB VSD units can be connected in parallel to offer the advantages of higher availability, reliability through redundancy, greater operating range and efficiency, space saving and expandability.
IWEX provided an ideal opportunity to demonstrate once again the Atlas Copco innovative solutions specifically developed to meet the need for oil-free, low-pressure process air. Request a free brochure from Atlas Copco Compressors ...
