Automated Packaging Systems are world leaders in high reliability automated packaging solutions, and as part of their on-going commitment to research and development for new and improved products it has announced a new and improved UV Protection bag.

Providing greater value to the customer, the newly designed bags are available at a lower cost with better 'imprintability' for barcodes.

With an improved look of final pack presentation the bags have a pleasing high quality glossy finish.

The co-extruded, multi-layer film offers very good protection against UV light.

The bags are black on the inside, white on the outside and approved by RAPRA to ISO standards (ISO 105 B02 colour fastness to artificial light using ISO 105-A03:1993 grey scale assessment chart).

All materials submitted for testing have exceeded MoD requirements.

Automated Packaging also provides other specialist bags including VCI anti-corrosion, anti-static and EcoBags.

VCI Anti-Corrosion Inhibitor Bags eliminate the need to grease products for storage and protection or to apply an extra layer of packing.

Bagging time is reduced, and it is a more environmentally friendly process.

Anti-Static Bags are suitable for applications where stray electric discharges could damage expensive components e.g automotive electronics, and EcoBags have been specifically developed for companies with strict environmental policies.

Recycled from the Automated Packaging factory waste material, they have no degradation in either quality or colour, and can be fully customised to meet the customer's requirements.
