Autodesk announces the appointment of Autometic as a new reseller for its manufacturing solutions, including Autodesk Inventor, the world's top-selling 3D design solution

Autodesk has announced that it has just appointed Autometic as a new reseller for its manufacturing solutions, including Autodesk Inventor, the world's top-selling 3D design solution Autometic , which is based at the Cranfield Innovation Centre, has recently been formed by Greg Curtis and Dave Cassapi, who each have over ten years experience of the CAD industry

They have chosen to specialise in Autodesk manufacturing solutions as, according to managing director, Greg Curtis, they see Autodesk Inventor as, "the best product on the market for manufacturers now and in the future - especially following the recent Autodesk acquisition of Alias".

He adds: "Having previously worked with other prominent CAD solutions we can give customers a valuable perspective on the market".

Curtis explains that as well as offering consultancy and training, the close Autometic ties with Cranfield University means that it can offer yet another value-added service - advice on funding and grants.

"Autometic is offering a one-stop service - right down to sourcing finance," he says.

"We're delighted to welcome the Autometic experienced team to the Autodesk fold - and are certain they will contribute significantly to the ever growing Inventor hold on the market," says Kevin Ison, sales director, Northern Europe, Autodesk Manufacturing Solutions Division.

Autometic will focus on manufacturers in Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and parts of West London where it sees particular potential in pharmaceutical companies and in the automotive supply chain. Request free introductory details about products from Autodesk ...
