A new range of standard high voltage induction motors, ready for delivery within days, has been launched by ABB: lower priced than engineered motors, these are ideal for OEMs needing standard product
These can be delivered within days and have a significantly lower price than engineered motors.
Designed for pump, fan and compressor applications, the high voltage standard motor features high efficiency, excellent starting characteristics, low noise levels, low vibration, IP56 protection as standard (IP65 also available), long maintenance intervals and a long lifetime of reliable operation.
ABB will also be highlighting its engineered motors, from 100 kW to 70 MW, as well as its process performance motors - this range has now been extended upwards with a new cast iron motor in IEC frame size 450, rated up to 1000 kW and 690 V.
The company will also be showcasing its range of low voltage and medium voltage variable speed drives up to 80 MW.
