ABB, a global leader in power and automation technology, has appointed Arlene Grant as Marketing Manager for their UK service division, based in Aberdeen

ABB, a global leader in power and automation technology, has appointed Arlene Grant as Marketing Manager for their UK service division, based in Aberdeen.

Arlene brings with her a wealth of marketing experience, mainly within the UK food industry, where she has held positions in Communications, Category Management and New Product Development.

In her new role Arlene will be responsible for developing the service division's UK marketing and communications plans across several key industry sectors including food, oil and gas, marine, chemical and pharmaceutical, pulp and paper and metals and minerals.

In addition to this Arlene will be marketing the service of two key automation products within the ABB group - drives and instrumentation as well as taking a leading role in innovation within the UK service division.

Mike Crawford, Senior Vice President for the UK service division comments: "I am delighted that Arlene has joined us.

As our service portfolio continues to grow we need to market and communicate this to our internal and external stakeholders across our key industries.
