Next BINDT accredited vibration training
course

Prior to appearing at MAINTEC 2008, condition monitoring consultants AV Technology are running their next BINDT accredited Vibration Analysis Level 1 Course from 11 to 14 February 2008

The next British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing (BINDT) accredited Vibration Analysis Level 1 Course will be held at The Rhinewood Country House Hotel, Glazebrook, near Warrington from 11th to 14th February 2008 AVT claim that this training is a "must" for companies and individuals who want to keep up-to-date with all the latest techniques for condition and vibration monitoring

The four day course contains an optimum balance of theoretical study and practical exercises, using the AVT Spectrum PDA data collector as well as other industry-standard collectors.

The training for BINDT Level 1 includes practical vibration measurement, vibration severity measurement, vibration spectral analysis, vibration analysis and fault finding and an introduction to structural resonances and balancing, culminating in a multiple choice training examination.

On the 15th February, delegates can sit the BINDT Level 1 Examination at the AVT approved training centre in Stockport.

AVT Training Services Director, Simon Mills, is one of only four BINDT VA Level 3 certified experts in the UK and all of the AVT trainers are trained to at least Level 2, as well as being Senior Consulting Engineers for the AVT CM business.

AVT point out that the standard courses can also be tailored to utilise customers' own equipment and are not hardware or software specific.

AVT have delivered modular technical training on a wide range of maintenance management related topics and techniques in the UK, Greece, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Dubai.

The training modules for the ISO 18436-2 Vibration Condition Monitoring and Diagnostics Standard are accredited by BINDT (British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing) to their PCN scheme CM Gen App D levels 1 and 2.

Spaces are limited and anyone interested in joining the course should contact AVT by telephone. Request a free brochure from AV Technology ...
