Axens launches new hydrocracking technologies

Axens has launched a new series of technologically advanced products for hydrocracking applications, described in new publicity and marketing documents

In the latest marketing materials, general information is provided on the types of hydrocracking processes and their commercial applications for use with various distillate feedstocks (VGOs, DAOs, LCO and HCO) and for diverse conversion targets (mild, medium and high).

Critical aspects of hydrocracking management are highlighted, including scale and metals removal, pressure drop management, flow distribution, desulphurisation, denitrogenation and conversion.

The relationship between catalysts offering various levels selectivity to middle distillates and activity is discussed in terms of the acidic nature of the catalysts.
