Magnetically driven self-cleaning filter launched
Available from Axflow Limited, the MCF is a unique filter that employs magnetically coupled drive technology to move the self-cleaning disc, eliminating the need for shaft or external drive seals
Both pumps offer a flow rate from 0.5m3/h -800m3/h, differential head up to 110m and will accommodate temperatures up to 115C.
In addition, the absence of any rotating seal enables the pumps to be dry run for a short time.
The NKPF Series has been designed for use on the exterior of suction or holding tanks and may be used for the delivery of suspensions, oversaturated solutions and corrosive liquids.
Because it is attached to the outside of the vessel, the pump does not require a ground plate, thereby making it suitable for use in confined spaces.
The distance between the lower bearings and the impeller is governed by constructive dynamics as the shaft bearings are located above the maximum suction sided liquid level.
The delivery suspension pipe has an acid resistant inner coating and links the bearing lantern to the pump casing.
Having the same stability of comparable metallic pumps means that the NKPF can accommodate forces and moments at the pump branches similar to those occurring in cast iron pumps.
The VKPF is a heavy duty sump pump designed for conveying aggressive, corrosive or solid laden liquids from basins, vessels or sumps.
Recommended applications include electroplating processes, water and waste water treatment and in neutralising plants for the transfer of acids and alkalis from tanks, open reservoirs or pits.
Like the NKPF, this pump features a semi-open impeller and thick-walled interchangeable plastic parts.
Designed in accordance with the well-proven two-pipe principle, enhanced stability is achieved by forming both the suspension pipe and the delivery pipe as an integral unit.
Built for an immersion depth of 1.5m, it is the absence of bearings and shaft seal in the submersible area that enable the VKPF to handle liquids containing a high solid content.
Both pumps, and their variants, are ATEX compliant and suitable for operation all hazardous environments. Request a free brochure from AxFlow ...
