The rigorous operating environments today demand that stainless steel fittings and process components be produced to higher material specifications: 316 and 304 versions are available as standard

In response to this demand, Axium Process has now upgraded its standard design of clamp to 316 stainless steel This comprehensive range is available from 1/2" up to 12 3/4" with metric alternatives offered

Light duty and high pressure options are available in 304 stainless steel with sizes available from 1/2" - 4" and 1" - 6" respectively.

Ferrules and blanks are manufactured in 316L as standard with material traceability to BS EN 10204 3.1.B.

More exotic alloys are also available to order including Hastelloy C, SMO 254 and 904L.

Internal ferrule finishes of 0.8 - 1.0 æm Ra are supplied as standard, with 0.4 and 0.25 æm Ra and electro-polishing options available for particular cosmetic, pharmaceutical and WFI (water for injection) applications.

Axium Process fabrication services enable clamp fittings to meet client-specific operating conditions.

The company in-house orbital welding facilities are used for high levels of consistency, accuracy and repeatability and provide high integrity welds and full weld logging capabilities.

Clamp unions are designed to be crevice free, quick and easy to assemble as no tools are required and allow operating temperatures and pressures of up to 150 degrees C and 10 Bar respectively.

EPDM seals are supplied as standard although a wide range of seal material options is available including silicone, nitrile, Viton, PTFE and encapsulated PTFE.
